The CDC claims that insufficient sleep is a public health epidemic. We’re glad we aren’t the only ones who recognize people would rather deprive themselves of sleep day in and day out than be responsible citizens for their own health. It’s time to make a change.
Many people don’t get enough sleep because they are spending an exuberant amount of time with smart technology. We recognize the awesomeness of all of these apps, games, and shows and are here to share our favorite wellness app for an iOS device that serves as a good tip for better health all around. We’ll get to other software systems in future blogs, so hang tight!

People move in and out of sleep cycles many times throughout the night. If a person didn’t wake up because of an alarm, he or she would wake up following a sleep cycle (which typically lasts 45 minutes to an hour). The user sets a 30 minute window with the latter time being the latest he or she needs to wake up in the morning. Sleep Cycle tracks movements during sleep to determine when the body is moving through the sleep cycle and sounds the alarm when the body is most near its natural wake state, therefore allowing people to complete sleep cycles and wake feeling refreshed.
Don’t forget to set the alarm range more than an hour before bedtime so you can adhere to our other tip for better health: ditch your smart device before bed to sleep better.
