The Firm version offers more resistance than the other two options making it ideal for heavier sleepers, stomach sleepers, and anyone who prefers a denser sleeper surface. The Firm topper offers responsive pressure relief and gentle cushioning but doesn't contour as deeply as the plusher models.

ILD stands for indentation load deflection; it represents how much weight is required to indent or compress a material. When it comes to latex foam, the lower the ILD, the softer it feels.

Talalay latex is a type of latex foam produced by a specific method. Its counterpart, Dunlop latex, is manufactured with a different mold, setting, and baking process. Talalay and Dunlop are both durable and supportive foams, but Talalay latex is better for mattress toppers because of its softer feel. This responsive topper uses synthetic Talalay latex and natural Talalay latex made with the sap-like serum from rubber trees.

Our Talalay Latex Mattress Topper is exceptionally comfortable and can enhance the comfort and support of any bed, but it’s not a substitute for a new mattress. Adding the topper to your existing mattress will surely provide a comfort boost and the benefits of natural latex, but it won’t fix the issues of an old and worn mattress.

The Talalay Latex Mattress Topper sits on top of your bed, suiting any mattress of the corresponding size. Look for sheets with deep pockets to accommodate the extra 3 inches in height.

The Talalay Latex Mattress Topper is spot-clean only. Use a gentle detergent diluted with water and gently rub it into the affected area with a damp cloth. Be careful not to soak the topper, and ensure it's completely dried before remaking your bed or putting the topper back on your mattress if you removed it for cleaning.

If, against all expectations, you don't love your new topper, you can request a return via email at support@nolahmattress.com within the first 30 days. Returns on pillows and accessories—including the Talalay Latex Mattress Topper—are limited to one return per product type.
